For Providers

Each year continues to bring unprecedented challenges, as our aging population will be one of the most chronically ill in U.S. history, entering facility based care later, and in worse health than our previous populations.

Medication adherence can affect quality and length of life, health outcomes, and overall healthcare costs. With ongoing staffing shortages and staff transitions, consistent and timely care becomes harder for your team to manage effectively.

Barr's Pharmacy is now providing expanded services aimed at helping our healthcare partners with managing medication regimens more effectively!

Our pharmacy’s long-term care assistance program includes the following services:

  • Medication Adherence Packaging

  • 24/7 Emergency Pharmacist on Call Services

  • Delivery Services to Your Facility

  • Monthly Comprehensive Medication Reviews

  • Interface with your eMAR or EHR (technology dependent)

Best of all – NO ADDITIONAL COST!

This program is designed to help keep our community safe, reduce medication errors, aid nursing staff in medication administration, and maintain regulatory compliance. When a patient signs up for our services, their meds are cycled, packaged, and delivered monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly (depending on need) with non-cycled medications delivered throughout the month, as needed.
